Term 3 Goal

Term 3 Goals

I thought since one of our MPS Values focus this term is Studious,  we could all set a goal (something that is achievable and related to school) for ourselves to try to achieve by the end of the term.

Please add your goal to the comment section, remembering to put you name at the end so we can all see what your goal is.

Can't wait to read all your goals.

My goal this term is to put more posts on our blog showing what Barrhill is learning about.

Term 3, 2013

Wow, where has the year gone?  Term 3 already!

I hope you have all had a fantastic holiday and rested up ready for a very brief term (only nine weeks) which is full up with exciting things already.

I can't wait to hear all about your holidays, and what you have got up to.  Remember to bring in some things to share with us all.

I have had a relaxing time just pottering around at home with the occasional trip to Christchurch.  I went ten pin bowling this week with Mikayla - she almost bet me!  I have also been looking at what we will be studying this term. I am excited about what our topic learning is going to involve, will tell you more on Monday.

Can't wait to see all your lovely smiles!

Production Photos

I hope you all enjoyed seeing the children participate in our production.  I was very proud of our class and the whole school for what they achieved together.  Thank you Mrs Hooper for you awesome work over the term.

Well done Barrhill children for your fantastic acting and singing!!!

Here are some photos that Mr Weidel took on Friday night, if anyone has some more from either night, could you please send along to school for me (I was a little busy to take photos).

Yesterday, Tomorrow, Aotearoa!

Hi everyone,

Today we had our dress rehearsal in front of Methven Preschool, Leap Ahead, Methven Playcentre, Our Lady of the Snows and Mt Hutt College.  The children did a fantastic job and they are looking forward to sharing it with their families in the next 2 nights.  If you don't have tickets yet, you can still get them from school.

Just a reminder that the children need to come dressed and ready to the Mt Hutt Memorial Hall by 6.15pm on Thursday & Friday night.

I hope you are looking forward to seeing all of your children participating in our production.  They have all worked really hard, and should be proud of what they have achieved.

I will upload some photos on the weekend.  If you take any on a night please send them to me and I will add them to .
