MPS have been lucky having a expert come to school and teach all classes some soccer skills.
On our first session we worked on dribbling and keeping the ball close to our feet. At times this was quite hard as we also had to make sure we didn't run into anyone else. We played a game where we had two sharks who tried to kick the ball away from our feet while we were moving between islands.
On our second session we had a mini competition. We were put into teams and we played short games against each other. This involved teamwork and perseverance for all of us. There were lots and smiles and yahoos as we scored our goals. We all had heaps of fun and are looking forward to getting out there again sometime soon.
Here are some photos of us during our mini competition.
Great looking soccer skills there Barhill!
