Orana Park

On Thursday the 13th June, Barrhill, Coleridge, Double Hill and Mt Hutt all travelled up to Orana Park in Christchurch.

We have been looking at classification in our classes and  our visit was to look at the different groups of animals that we have, consolidating on what we have been researching in our class.  We looked at some mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds.

We all enjoyed our trip and would like to thank all the parent helps that came with us.  We hope you enjoyed the day also.  Please find below some photos of the day.

Comment on what your favourite part of the day was?

Comment on something new that you learnt?

Can you describe the features that each group have?  For example how do you know a animal is a mammal or reptile?

Looking forward to your comments Barrhill.  Miss Ish
