Geometry

Here are some photos of us working together in cooperative groups, talking about Geometry, what we know, the difference between 2D & 3D shapes.

Have a chat to your family about what they know.  See if you can find some things that are 3D shapes at home.  Take a photo and email to me or bring along to school and we will take a photo.  Good luck hunting!!

  2. I wonder if Matthew can remember how to make the square cube? We wanted to make a boxed cube. We need a ruler, pen, papper, scissors and glue stick. We drew 6 squares the same size using the ruler, cut the shape out and then glued the edges together till it made the cube. We then put numbers on it and used it as a dice!
